On December 13, 2012, I will be a featured speaker at the 2012 Annual Louisiana Bankers Association (LBA) Bank Counsel Conference. In my presentation, “The CFPB’s First Anniversary: A Look Back at What it has Accomplished and Where it is Headed,” I will discuss what has transpired at the agency since its inception and how banks and nonbank institutions have been affected by its regulatory and enforcement actions, as well as what to expect from the CFPB in the future. I will also discuss arbitration developments.
The presentation will take place from 2:35 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. CT in New Orleans. The conference will be held on December 13 and 14. More information about the conference and how to register is available in the LBA brochure.
