I am delighted to share the news with our blog readers that Ballard Spahr has been shortlisted for a Chambers USA Firm of the Year award in the Financial Services Regulation category.  Winners will be announced at a reception in New York City on June 19.

The awards, which are based on the organization’s research for the 2019 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, reflect nominees’ success and preeminence in key practice areas.  They recognize exceptional achievement in client work and service and strategic growth over the past 12 months.  The shortlist nominees were drawn from a list of about 30 firms ranked by Chambers USA in the area of Financial Services Regulation this year.

As our readers know, this is not our Group’s first recognition by Chambers.  Since Chambers USA began ranking American firms, Ballard Spahr has been consistently ranked nationally in Band One (one of only 3 firms in the country in 2019) in the category “Financial Services Regulation: Consumer Finance (Compliance and Litigation).”  Our Group has also been named a Banking Group of the Year by Law360.
