Tomorrow, the House Financial Services Committee will conduct a hearing entitled “The Semi-Annual Report of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.”  CFPB Director Cordray is the only scheduled witness. 

The CFPB’s fourth Semi-Annual Report was issued in November 2013.  Based on the Committee’s hearings on previous Semi-Annual reports, the report itself is likely to receive little mention during the hearing. … Continue Reading

The Senate Banking Committee has announced that on April 23, 2013, it will conduct a hearing on the CFPB’s third Semi-Annual Report to Congress.  CFPB Director Richard Cordray is the only witness scheduled to appear.
